New French Nails

Great salon. Gel manicure is going on week 4 without chipping or breaking. Only place in SF that has lasted over 2 weeks for me. I go to Tammy.

I’ve been going to Lan and her team of experienced nail techs for over 5 years. She is the only person I trust with my nails. I actually drive in from Oakland to see Lan for my gel manicure, because she is really that amazing! If you call ahead you can get an appointment or lan can tell you her availability. She is quick detail oriented and fun to chat with. I love Lan she’s the best.

I can honestly say that I have gotten the MOST compliments on my nails since I started going here. Minnie is amazing! She pays attention to detail, makes sure that you're happy along the way (shape, number of coatings, and color), gives great hand massages and is friendly. I always go for the gel manicure with matte finish (you can make any color matte but as a heads up it lightens the color. The black looked more dark grey). I'm not kidding that they last! 3 weeks and no chipping, nothing. In the pictures the grey was a more blue grey, but with matte a lighter more green grey.

This nail salon is great for manicures - they do a nice job and my gel manicures consistently last 2-3 weeks. Far longer than any other salon I’ve tried in FiDi or North Beach (I’ve tried 7). Pictures at day 10 of most recent gel manicures. The staff is kind and friendly, but will also let you zone out if you’re not looking to chat. Prices are also reasonable for the area; as with most salons Venmo or Cash is preferred. Note: This salon is a compact space in the financial district so for pedicures, they seat you in a chair that’s like a home accent chair (not a big massage chair). If you’re choosing a pedicure for experience/relaxation over polish, keep that in mind.

Fantastic and quick service! First time doing my nails in SF, and they didn’t disappoint. We (my brother, his girlfriend and I) walked in, and they attended to us, and they were done in good time. Very friendly, and cheerful staff. Thank you so much Lan!

Lan did a beautiful job on my nails per usual. She is so friendly and kind. I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait to go back.
